How do I place an order?
1. Measure your parcel from the widest points accurately in centimetres (CMS)
2. Weigh your parcel in grams.
3. Ensure that your items conform to the maximum size restrictions and that you have read the tab entitled prohibited/restricted.
4. Select the services you require on the right hand side and then select add to cart, the website will give you the price, you can change the weight or the service and the website will instantly update the price.
5. Your account address is where we will collect your parcel from or you can drop off your parcel at our Burnley Parcel Shop. If this is not suitable we can arrange other UK drop-off points from £6.
6. A printer is not required if you are visiting our Burnley shop, otherwise a printer is required.
You will need to write on each parcel: The persons full name and address and in the top right corner the service you require.
Your parcels are weighed and size checked once received, if a signed for service is required a label will be applied and each tracking number will be emailed to you.
7. If you are dropping off your parcels at a convenience store, you will be emailed a barcoded label, all different parcels can be placed inside, providing the other box fits in with the delivery services maximum size and weight dimensions, the tracking number will be shown on the label we email to you, which covers the journey to our depot in Burnley.
PROHIBITED & RESTRICTED ITEMS WHEN SENDING TO THE USA WITH THE UNITED STATES POSTAL SERVICE (USPS)
You must not send any item addressed to a country in which the item is unlawful or prohibited. When an item is restricted you must comply with the restriction. Prohibitions and restrictions vary from country to country and can sometimes apply to items which you may think are ordinary. The information below is provided in good faith, but Parcels Cheaper is not responsible for it and it should be viewed as a guide only. Specific restrictions and changes may be enforced at short notice, so for clarification please contact the destination country's trade, postal or customs authority.
PROHIBITED ITEMS: (not allowed in any circumstance)
This is a postal service and is delivered by The United States Postal Service (USPS) therefore if you do not select the signed for delivery option you can only claim compensation for the cost of the service paid.
If the letter, large letter or parcel has not been delivered you will be able to claim back the cost of the sale price for the goods only up to the value of insurance you purchased. Documents can only be claimed for the amount paid for the service in case of non delivery.
By using this postal service you can save a significant amount of money by not using standard courier services, there is no need to worry about remote surcharges as it costs the same price to send to any town or city as it does for any destination in the USA!
As an account customer you are eligible for volume related discounts if your mailing meets the entry requirements.

You may know it as order processing, it is the process of storing, picking, packing then sending products using couriers and handling any product returns.
This service allows you to concentrate on selling your products and developing your business rather than paying to have staff send your parcels for you and all other associated costs that come with it.

(This is the same service that the Post Office offers but at a much cheaper price!)

Services with USA Post:
Letters up to 100 grams. Maximum size of length 240 mm x width 165 mm x 5 mm thick.
Large Letter up to 750 grams. Maximum size of length 353 mm x width 250 mm x 25 mm thick.
Parcels or tubes. Maximum weight of 2000 grams (2 kg) except if you are sending printed matter then the maximum weight is 5,000 grams (5 kg) or 11,000 grams (11 kg) if your printed matter is in a sack and all going to the same address.
The service is non tracked unless you select the signed option.
AIRMAIL SIZE RESTRICTIONS:
PARCEL: Maximum length is 60 cms and the length + width + height must be 90 cms or less.
TUBE OR ROLL:
Maximum length 90 cms, length + width + height must be 104 cms or less. Note that the width and height are the same size as it is a tube shape.
Parcels received above this size will incur a delay and a charge made for using a different suitable courier.
Do not send fragile items, white goods or assembled furniture as these are not insured.
If the recipient is not available when the United States Postal Service (USPS) try to deliver, they will leave a sorry we missed you card, the recipient is required to follow the instructions on the card to either collect their parcel from the local delivery office or arrange for a re delivery.
